Convex VS Concave Polygons

Classifying Polygons  Equilateral Polygon: A polygon with all sides congruent.  Equiangular Polygon: A polygon with all congruent angles.  Regular Polygon: A polygon that is both equilateral and equiangular.

Find the sum of all of the interior angles Polygon Angle-Sum Theorem: The sum of the measures of the angles of an n-gon is (n-2)180.

Practice 1. Find the sum of the interior angles of a regular 12-gon

To find One angle:  One interior angle of a regular polygon measures

Practice 2.Find one interior angle of a regular polygon with 15 sides

Polygon Exterior Angle-Sum Theorem  The sum of the measures of the exterior angles of a polygon, one at each vertex is 360. For the pentagon, the sum of the angles 1- 5 equal 360.

EX: Find the missing exterior angle

EX: Find x
