European evaluation: the good news Europass relevant for E&T 2020 and EU Popular sucess of Europass CV: more than 27 million users since Europass portal is visited by circa 1,7 million visitors per month. Well-recognised/trusted brand for transparency and recognition tools in Europe and beyond. Europass tools are cost-efficient and its use is constanly growing.

Europass evaluation: relevance of Europass documents to job- seekers (first and second evaluation of Europass)

Europass evaluation : users of Europass documents according to age.

Europass Evaluation : users of Europass documents according to education attainment.

European evaluation: the not so good news Very rigid framework, preventing quick adjustments to new education and training situations. Not reaching large groups of potential users. Low convergence with other EU tools for transparency and recognition of skills and qualifications.

Europass: the future Need for a more flexible and learner-oriented structure with adaptive tools. Better documenting of non-formal and informal learning. Improved synergies among Europass and other European initiatives, including better coordination with services providing career guidance and transparency and recognition of qualifications. Better interoperability with EU tools used for job matching. Possible revision of the legal basis.
