Consorzio Colli Berici-Basso Vicentino is the association of all the “Pro-Loco” of the area Pro Loco are associations of volunteers who work to promote local heritage and products, safeguard the environment and organize social activities for citizens Consorzio is composed by a small group of workers, the structure is small and flexibile A guarantee of Support-&-Promotion to different activities

In central part of Veneto (north East of Italy) In Berici Hills ('Colli Berici'), that are a group of hills with a total area of about 165 km² Veneto is famous for Venice (historical city), sea and mountains (Dolomiti)…and hills??? Main problems : The most of tourists prefers city of art (Venice and Padova) or bigger mountains (Asiago or Dolomiti) This area is partially abandoned by the inhabitants, that prefer to live in the city How is possible to promote tourism in this area and support economical activities?

To promote local products, but with a good coordination To Involve different commercial activities (hotels, restaurant, farmers, schools) Create a new kind of tourism that can be competitive To involve municipalities and institutions To do a good promotion for typical products and events with significative brand

Didact itineraries (schools) Bike paths(Olive’s itineraries, that involve also olive producers) Outdoor trip (guided nature walk with lunch in a typical restaurant) Art trip (an excursion to visit historical villas with specific guide with lunch in a typical restaurant)

Creation of Label for the typical products (guarantee for the consumers) Creation of tourist guides for restaurants and agritourism Festival of typical food (collaboration with restaurants and farmers)

Support the creation of sport association like mountain bike, golf, horse riding Creation of course of botanic and for mushrooms identification
