The kidneys are important for our life, even though humans can live without one of them we need at least one to survive. The kidneys clean waste so the waste can go though the bladder. Kidneys are about the size of your fist and are a bean shape. The kidneys are located just below the rib cage. you have one kidney either side of your spine.
