The documents that we required to process your teaching license and residence visa are as followed: 1. Passport size photos (White background only) 2. Passport colour copies (Passport must be valid for more than 12 months.) Please ensure there are no Israeli stamps in your passport. 3. Signed contract – all required pages. 4. Employees qualification, duly attested in English. Please see “Process for attesting your documents” folder for more information. Attested Qualifications: Bachelor Degree/Master Degree Attested. 5. Step 1 Once we have received your signed contract please send us the following documents at the earliest. Please send them by . Step 2 In order to Obtain your Education License we need the following Documents:. THIS PROCESS MUST BE COMPLETED AND SENT TO SCHOOL BY JUNE IN ORDER TO ENSURE THAT YOUR WORK VISA WILL BE READY IN AUGUST.

Step passport-size photographs ~ COLOR photo with a WHITE background (already sent) Passport color copies (Passport must be valid for more than 12 months by July 2016.) Not Israeli stamps. Already sent. Copies of Employee’s highest diploma certificate (Bachelor or Master Degree only) duly attested by the appropriate government departments and the UAE Embassy or Consulate in the country which issued the document. (Please refer to the attestation process information in your home country). Diplomas, if written in any language other than English, must be translated and attached to a copy of the original diploma.

Step Copies of any other diploma certificate along with relevant transcripts. Police Clearance Certificate (or Record of Good Conduct) to be obtained from the authorities from your home county. Official transcript copy (stamped / embossed) Teacher’s License original Letters of reference/Recommendation (3 required) – (Must be signed by the Principal and stamped). Send to attest one or two letters of recommendation stating you have 2+ year of experience if you are a classroom teacher. If you are a subject teacher 4+

Step Verification of employment (this may be in the reference letters) – (Must be signed by the Principal and stamped for your current of previous school). CV / Résumé Updated Self-Introductory & Appointment Form for ADEC- Typed and Signed. To be sent by . Please see the ADEC information to fill the letter.

Box: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Once we have received all your documents we will apply to the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) for your teaching license and once we have the approval we can then apply for your residence visa. The process takes from 2-3 months. Please be aware that this process can take time and may not be completed by the time you will arrive, you need to send us the documents before 1 June 2016.

This certificate must also be attested Birth Certificate This certificate must also be attested.

Universal Values Leadership Qualities Forward Thinking Step 3 – Visas If you will be sponsoring your spouse and/or children please ensure that you get your marriage and birth certificates attested. If your spouse will work in Abu Dhabi please also ensure that their qualification is attested. If your children will join GEMS American Academy please our registrar for the admission requirements.
