NROTC Scholarship Pays for all tuition, lab and registration fees, and books Does not cover room and board Some schools offer discounts for NROTC midshipmen Stipend (TAX FREE!!) - Freshman: $300 ($2700 a SY) - Sophomore: $350 ($3150 a SY) - Junior: $400 ($3600 a SY) - Senior: $450 ($4050 a SY)

Academic Requirements Select any undergraduate major Study what you want, we don’t care! Carry a full time course load Attend Naval Science Courses Only one required per semester Maintain good academic standing Must not drop below 2.5 average (scholarship)

Required Activities Weekly Drill Day Weekly Drill (2-3 Hours) Wear uniform to class Uniforms are provided at no cost Weekly Drill (2-3 Hours) Various activities (PT, O-course, classes, etc) Expect to PT in the morning 2-3 times a week

Service Obligation (Cont.) Upon graduation, Midshipmen are commissioned As Second Lieutenants and serve 4 years on Active Duty Those midshipmen with a Flight Training Guarantee incur an additional obligation (6 yrs rotary / 8 yrs fix wing)

Qualification This scholarship is VERY competitive Awarding of the scholarship is based on everything you have accomplished Some of the things considered: Academics (types of classes, GPA) Athletics (sports and physical ability) Extra Curricular activities (clubs, etc.) Community Service Leadership (in the above activities) Teacher evaluations!!!!
