Sir Fred Goodwin Four months after leaving Royal Bank of Scotland, former chief executive Sir Fred Goodwin is under fire for the generosity of his £650,000-a-year pension. Sir Fred was in charge of the bank when it failed and he had to step down after RBS had to be bailed out by the government, with tax-payer’s money. He revelled in his nickname of Fred the Shred for cutting costs - and jobs. He was also given a £2.86 million bonus – after the Bank collapsed.

Rebekah Brooks Features editor at the ‘News of The World’ newspaper. She was in charge during a period when journalists illegally hacked mobile phones, Including that of murdered teenager Milly Dowler. Rebekah Brooks has denied all knowledge of phone hacking – a claim flatly denied by fellow journalists who said she made payments to the police to obtain information and knew all about phone hacking. One journalist described her as ‘the scum of the earth.’ The newspaper was shut down and Mrs Brooks was given a multi-million pound payment, free use of a chauffer-driven limousine and free prime London office space to do with as she pleases.

He is married with a five year old son. Because of the need to reduce the economic deficit, Alan is one of over 700 thousand public sector workers who faces possible job loss, a pay-cut and having to pay more into his pension, only to get less out when he retires.
