 A Podcast ( Literally: Ipod Broadcast) is a series of digital media files, either audio or video, that is made available for download via web syndication.  You can download and play these files to a variety of multimedia devices including a computer, IPod, mp3/mp4 player.

 Audacity is a free sound editor used by most PC podcast creators (Apple uses Garage Band)  An encoder file called “LAME’ is needed to create an mp3 file that is readable by Ipods and other multimedia players dows Save the Lame file in the Audacity folder dows

 Language of the discipline: Students will be developing the language of multimedia professionals as well as Authors and Directors.  Different Perspectives are gained through the various hats a storyteller must wear depending on the story or perspective taken.  Students will conduct research for media, interviews, story background, news events or personal histories depending on the story to be developed.  Advanced skills for Digital storytelling included storyboard and script creation and the technology skill involved in using software and hardware. These skills directly impact the development of Language Arts, Social Studies, and Technology
