Enhanced Business Name Registration System (EBNRS) Policies Implemented Internal to the System (19 August 2011)

TELLER side

User Login

Password data entry is case sensitive. Minimum allowed password length is 6 alphanumeric characters. A copy of the username and default password will be automatically sent to the address provided by the teller upon successful creation of the user account by the system administrator.

User Login Follows a certain convention or standard format, i.e., lastname.firstname Only dot (.) as special character is allowed for the login credentials Only Administrator can create user accounts

User Login Checks if address is invalid Requires unique add for each user acct created (establishes relationship between username & its equivalent add, thereby both are being matched) Default password is “password” (upon creation of user account)

Menu : Application - New Application Citizenship is open or with options

Middle Name & Suffix – if N/A, converted into blank Only the form ‘N/A’ is recognized by the system N A, N.A. or any other form – will be printed ‘as is’ in the certificate System validates age requirement Menu : Application - New Application

Enter minimum 3 letters on the Town/City

House building number and Street Address are allowed to have blank values Barangay is the only minimum requirement for the address in some POs System automatically adds comma (,) at the end of each data field (evident in the certificate/certification) Menu : Application - New Application

Only TIN, BN scope/localization and contact information ( address and contact numbers) are editable System will accept BN and its details or bypass any rule for RENEWAL Only every 5 yrs (after expiration) Menu : Application – Request for Renewal

Penalty of 50% of the BN fee for late renewal will be charged (will take effect after 5 years and 3 months from the date of expiration) Renewal then Change of BN Info or vice versa can be done anytime

If properly tagged, system will NOT allow Renewal until only 1 of them (MAIN and its Branches) remains in the database (last to expire) If improperly tagged, Branches will be treated as MAIN Menu : Application – Request for Renewal (MAIN- BRANCH)

Currently, all of these will be treated as MAIN whether properly or improperly tagged MAIN– BRANCH treatment will only be applied, depending on the scope that will be chosen by the owner Menu : Application – Request for Renewal (FRANCHISE & DEALERSHIP)

Or also known as AFFIRMATIVE Certification, can be performed anytime No limitation Menu : Application – Request for Certification

Maximum allowed printing is 3 (1 – via this module & 2 thru TM-Reprint) Can still print certificate/certification even if it is already downloaded/printed on the public side but vice versa is not possible. Certificate – issued for NEW & RENEWAL Processing: Print Certificate/ Certification

If Chartered City – Province will not be displayed Certification – issued for Change Business Information, Cancellation & Affirmative certification OR Reprint – can be found under TRN Inquiry (no limit) Processing: Print Certificate/ Certification

! Note that features in the TELLER module are also the same with what have been implemented in the PUBLIC side, except for the ff: House building number and Street Address are NOT allowed to have blank values Online Services

Maximum allowed downloading/printing is 2 only Can only print certificate/certification if it is NOT yet downloaded/printed on the teller side but vice versa is possible. Certificate/Certification and OR printed have DTI Logo Online Services
