What is an Urban Water Management Plan?  UWMPs are required by CA Dept. of Water Resources for larger water providers  The documents follow DWR guidelines for content  UWMPs are planning documents that help water providers evaluate their future water security  Planning horizon of 2040  Starting in 2010, UWMPs also required per capita water use reporting (SB X7-7, 20x2020) to track water conservation compliance  The UWMP is a requirement for State funding
