DRINKING WATER - INDIA o The drinking water quality in India turns into a major problem of the country. It is considered that the water borne diseases affect 37.7 million persons annually, leading to the loss of 73 million working days and to the death of 1.5 million children from diarrhea alone. o The central drinking water supply systems disinfect the water predominantly with chlorine, but the technical condition and the level of operation and control of the chlorinating systems are not able to secure proper, constant and reliable quality. o In rural regions central water supply is not available and the situation is not available and the situation is even more difficult. The water is disinfected predominantly with bleaching powder – in small local water supply equipment, and with chlorine tabs and sachets, by solar treatment, with different filtering and traditional methods- at the Point-of-Use. o 85% of the rural population in India, is dependent on ground water. According to some statistical data there are more than 21 million wells functioning in the country. o The excessive extraction of ground water leads to increasing concentrations of fluoride, arsenic and nitrate. There is also a contamination with plenty of other pollutants being product of infiltration of untreated surface water or industrial effluents. o The basic risk for the public health is the contamination of ground water, especially during the monsoon period, with human and animal septic material. Both ground water and surface water are sources of drinking water for the rural and urban population. Its quality, supply and distribution present significant problems for human consumption…!!!

DEZAVID – A NEW ERA DISINFECTING AGENT H OW TO MAKE WATER SAFER ? MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE ! Universal Highly effective Chlorine-free Non-corrosive Low volatility Long-lasting effect Colorless, odorless Safe for humans and environment

DEZAVID FOR WATER DISINFECTION DEZAVID is the best agent for disinfection of water – it has been developed as a result of numerous scientific researches, experimental and industrial trials. It is applied for disinfection of: Drinking water; Waste water; Process water in industrial water circuits; Water in swimming pools, aqua parks and SPA. APPLICATION AREAS  Disinfection of drinking water and waste water  Disinfection in healthcare and medical institutions  Disinfection of water/prevention of biofouling in industrial water systems  Disinfection of water in swimming pools, aqua parks and SPA  Household disinfection  Disinfection in Wellness and Beauty facilities Why should we prefer DEZAVID rather than the chlorine-based water treatment methods?

PREPARATION FOR DISINFECTION OF DRINKING WATER “ DEZAVID CONCENTRATE” “DEZAVID CONCENTRATE” is a regent with a double performance, being a cationic flocculent on the one hand and on the other hand- a disinfectant with high antimicrobial activity against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Clostridium Perfringens, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Salmonella Enteritidis, Salmonella Infantis, Legionella, viruses. The preparation has bactericidal, veridical, fungicidal, tuberculocidal and sporicidal actions that destroy all microorganisms causing tuberculosis, viruses (acute respiratory viral infections, herpes, poliomyelitis, all hepatitis, adenovirus, HIV- infection), sponges (Cdndidaalbicdns, Trichophyton gyppseum, Aspergillus niger) molds, spores, and causes of especially dangerous infektions (plague, cholera and anthrax). “DEZAVID CONCENTRATE” is a specially developed preparation from the “Dezavid” family. Its purpose is to achieve a higher quality of treatment and disinfection of drinking water. Is universally allows its successful and effective use for disinfection of:  Wastewater;  Water in technical water supply systems in industry;  Water in equipment water cooling systems;  Water in open and closed hot water supply systems;  Water in swimming pools and water parks.

ADVANTAGES Advantages of the application of the DEZAVID-based technology for disinfection of water: Kills all known types of pathogens; Non-toxic; Safe for humans and environment; Long term effect; Non-corrosive; Harmless for any material; Prevents biofouling; Extends lifetime of filter systems and equipment; User friendly – does not require installation of special implementation equipment; No special requirements regarding transport, storage and handling; Simplified check of residual values by testing kit; Reduces the operating cost by more than 25%; Long shelf life – 3 years.

PRODUCT USP What organisms is it effective against? Proven efficiency against causes of Tuberculosis, acute respiratory viral infections, Herpes, polio viruses, all Hepatitis viruses, Adenovirus, HIV-infection, Legionella, fungi (Candida albicans, Trichophyton gyppseum, Aspergillus niger), molds, spores, as well as against dangerous infections Plague, Cholera and Anthrax. Is it economically effective? The preparation has high economic potential. Its competiveness (in comparison with other disinfectants) is enhanced by the fact that it achieves high operational efficiency at low concentrations of the working solutions. Are there any special transport, storage and handling requirements? No special requirements set - the preparation is chemically neutral, non- corrosive, harmless for any material and does not damage equipment and pipe network. Is it harmful in any way? No, it is completely safe for humans and environment – it is non-carcinogenic, non-mutagenic, non-flammable non-explosive; free of chlorine, aldehydes and phenols. C HLORINATION ? UV LIGHT ?
