What is the Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR)? Annual report produced by TEA that includes state, district, and school level data Data disaggregated by: – Ethnicity – Economically Disadvantaged – English Language Learner – Special Education 2
Why a Public Hearing? Required by Texas Education Code Chapter 39, Sec This requirement includes that each district’s board of trustees publish an annual report that includes the TAPR. A public hearing must be held within 90 days of release (released November 16, 2015) and notification to the public must be given. 3
