It is our mission to continually improve the health of our community and its diverse population. We recognize the importance of a diverse workforce for the delivery of the highest quality care to people of different cultures, beliefs and behavior. We strive to tailor that care to meet patients’ social, cultural and linguistic needs.

Of MetroHealth’s more than 6,100 employees, 31 percent are ethnic minorities, including 16 percent of our physicians and 13 percent of our nursing staff. 238 MetroHealth physicians are bi-multilingual; 49 languages are spoken.
