Performance YTD SportingPulse has managed to sign material network partnerships with Defence Force Recruitment and Swisse Vitamins for Season Both deals were of significance and we expect further deals to be signed in the coming quarter. Commercialisation Agreements Football Associations are saving over $200,000 per annum in software costs through it’s partnership with SportingPulse. Whilst the entire FootyWeb system is provided at no cost to the game, the aim is to offset this cost by advertising sold on your websites. Once the costs are covered, you will also share 50% of advertising revenue. Growth Opportunities To maximise the opportunities for 2010, It is important that any association that isn’t actively using their website is encouraged to do so. The commercial returns will continue to increase as league and club websites become more widely used. Driving traffic through websites as much as possible will help generate additional income. This can be done by using the websites as the primary communication tool. This can include things like putting newsletters online, not printing fixtures and ladders and also using the Communicator product to send s with links to content on your website. Simple promotion of your website and making your website the source of all news, events and information will drive traffic and loyalty to your site, and save administration costs in both photocopying of information and constant phone calls. Thus, by using your site as a central hub, you can not only generate income, but also immediately save on costs. Performance and Opportunities

What’s new? SportingPulse has appointed a new Sales Director, Chris Oliver. Chris now leads a sales team within SportingPulse, which complements the 40 sales staff within News Digital Media representing us with digital media agencies, represented in all states. SMS is now available via Communicator for all Leagues and Clubs. Currently SMS Credits can be purchased by contacting our Support Team on to communicate with all your Members in the Membership Database Have your Clubs signed up to PayMySport yet? If not, please visit and see why a record amount of Clubs across FootyWeb signed up to use PayMySport for Online Registration payments. Get in early and get your Clubs set-up for Season The latest version of Sportzware Online included new functionality called “Clash Resolution” and also “Regrading” which sits in the Competition tab. Clash Resolution allows you to instantly see if you have any fixture clashes at particular venues and allows you to resolve them immediately. Regrading allows you to swap teams within Competitions to ensure a more evenly balanced fixture moving forward. Have your Clubs participated in “Kick for your Club” yet? There are fantastic weekly prizes to give away including a cash prize of $5000 to one club in each state who manages to kick the most metres. Get your club to visit for more details. Don’t forget the Army Challenge Award either. Total prize pool for the Army Challenge Award stands at just under $100,000. Visit for more details and to see which players nationwide are displaying the outstanding courage, initiative and teamwork on the local footy field thus far. What’s new at SportingPulse

What’s coming up One major development taking place as we speak is the popular Fixture Grid which we hope to finish off soon and get it ready in time for the start of season The Fixture Grid is one enhancement that we’ve constantly been asked to add to Sportzware Online so we’re happy to announce this will be done shortly. Contacts & Services is due for release shortly as well. This development allows Clubs to quickly update on a yearly basis exactly who at their Clubs fill various positions from President through to Secretary etc so you’ve got an up to date database of important contacts at your Clubs and who you can easily communicate with via Communicator if you like. SportingPulse is officially moving offices in July from Vermont to East Melbourne opposite the MCG in the heart of the Melbourne sporting precinct. Stay tuned for new contact details in the near future! Help Us, Help You! At SportingPulse we’re always looking for feedback on how we can improve our products and service. In order to understand how we can make FootyWeb even better, we actively encourage you to contact and tell us what we could do to improve FootyWeb and make it better for everyone. If you have any good ideas, please the Football Account Manager at Feedback and Upcoming Developments
