2 Ambition and goals Ambition:  Green Delta is the top biobased region of Europe (in cooperation with its Flemish partners) Goals:  Making industry and agriculture future-proof and more sustainable  Strengthen the relations between process industry and agriculture (‘agro meets chemistry’)  Focus on big companies and SME’s  Adapt to dynamics (transformations in existing companies and new companies)  Develop instruments/conditions that facilitate companies (knowledge, innovation projects, top locations, multimodal infrastructure)  Invest 400 Mio euros the next 4 years in innovations (private and public) and realiazing employment maintenance or new jobs (± 4.000)
