Recruitment and selection (cont’d) Keywords: External recruitment: This is when a vacancy is filled by someone who is not an existing employee in the business Internal recruitment: This is when a vacancy is filled by someone who is an existing employee of the business. Job advertisements: What should be included? Where should it be placed? How much will advertising cost? Application forms: This needs to be completed often with a CV and a letter of application. C.V’s: This is a summary of a persons qualifications, experience and qualities. Interviews: These might include other selection tasks, written tasks, practical tests or making a presentation about a topic.
