The National Program is Announced: Conceptualized by the LA County Sheriff’s Department and officially launched on April 10 th, LEEDIR – “Large Emergency Event Digital Information Repository” LEEDIR, a nationwide program launched in April, 2014, enables U.S. law enforcement and relief agencies to harness “on the scene” videos and images from virtually any “eyewitness” source, during major terrorist/criminal events and natural disasters. LEEDIR is offered FREE of charge for large-scale events only. A Solution is Created  A Public/Private Partnership

1.Address the need to acquire and access real-time video from citizen eyewitnesses during catastrophic events 2.Provide a secure, central repository for the high-speed evaluation, organization, sharing and storage of large volumes of videos and photos 3.Ensure video ownership rights for the law enforcement community 4.Process media securely as potential evidence: Media uploaded -> original backed up -> MD5 Hashed (“fingerprint”) -> Virus Scan -> Metadata (like GPS) extracted -> Audit Trail 5.Automatically transcode media into usable format 6.Supply expandable cloud infrastructure to process virtually unlimited media 7.Offer the ability to interact with citizen eyewitnesses (who did no submit anonymously) at emergency locations to obtain specific video to assist in emergency first responder deployment The LEEDIR Solution Will…

The event must: 1.Involve multiple jurisdictions or disciplines 2.Have at least 5,000 people in attendance – and/or - cover at least 5 square miles Note: If your event does not meet the LEEDIR criteria, then the CitizenGlobal platform can be leveraged (a paid service).
