India Outsourcing and The New Economy

Why India? The Raj

Globalization Globalization (or globalisation) describes the process by which regional economies, societies, and cultures have become integrated through a global network of political ideas through communication, transportation, and trade.

Outsourcing An arrangement in which one company provides services, sometimes from overseas, for another company that could also be or usually have been provided in-house.

Outsourcing is helping to diffuse Western culture to Indians. This is creating conflict between Traditional Indian Culture and Values and the new Western Culture – Rural vs Urban – Young vs Old
