Why are we even here? List 10 English-speaking countries: How able-bodied are English-speaking people? Are they homosexual, heterosexual, transsexual? What color are English speaking people? What color is the stereotype? What color are they really? Why do you think it’s different?

Diversity and the Student Why do parents even want their students to learn English?

Discussion Time 1.) Do your textbooks show a variety of individuals? 2.) Do your textbooks show a diversity of English-speaking names? 3.) Do they talk about various English-speaking cultures? 4.) Do students see disabled and able-bodied English speakers? 5.) Do they see women and girls? 6.)Do they see LGBTQ identified individuals in their books? 7.) Do they see people performing jobs that may not be seen as typical of their sex?
