Pavement Marking Management System Striping projects performed by Maintenance Forces and Contractors No coordinated approach to delivering the best product at the best time No formal process for selecting materials

Program Objectives To develop a system to continually track location and condition of pavement markings on all state maintained roadways To collect and analyze all appropriate data to help facilitate decisions regarding pavement markings To develop appropriate quality assurance/quality control standards to ensure a consistent program is delivered statewide To develop complete life cycle models to better predict appropriate replacement schedules To develop processes to allow thorough evaluation of all pavement marking products

Program Objectives To develop a system to accurately predict pavement markings budgets To develop a system that helps meet or exceed the pavement marking performance objectives established in the AMMO process To coordinate project scheduling among pavement marking projects and all other pavement-related projects statewide
