G&RI Results – Pillar 1&2 Planning Cycle Activities  Pilot Phase - Sep08 to Apr09: 2 districts (24 OVS months)  Scale-up Phase - May09 to Aug09: 8 districts (12 OVS months) Data Analysis Plan Development Data Gathering Planning Cycle Results – Sep08 to Aug09  Data Gathering: 1 district-wide community survey (EWB initiated), department data collected in 6 districts, 7 databases developed  Data Analysis: 6 water planning tools created (30 boreholes sited)  Plan Development: 2 district water/sanitation plans (use water tools)  Innovation – Facilitated a leadership training for District Directors which provided space for peer-to-peer mentorship. G&RI Results - Pillar 3 National Development & Planning Commission (NDPC)  Results: 3 EWB briefing papers distributed to all NDPC staff. EWB met with 10 staff to share district planning realities. Institute for Local Governance Studies (ILGS)  Results: EWB Article published in ILGS journal. Collaborating on capacity development program in two districts. UNICEF Ghana  Results: Influenced the development of a $40,000 innovative mentorship program to support district planning officers. M&E Theme Group in Accra  Results: 3 EWB briefing papers distributed to all members. Intimate relationship with 4 influencers: CIDA, DED, UNICEF, Senior Advisor to President Informal network of 30 influencers
