The sequence of activities and steps is called a business process –May be tied to functional area or be cross-functional Businesses: Can be seen as collection of business processes Business processes – in ‘the old days’ were done without computers being involved – e.g. general ledger in a bank Even today sometimes best not to use technology – e.g. ?
