Additional CPD opportunities Foundation Phase Communication Matters New resource to support planning for the progression of key literacy skills in oracy, reading and writing Modules comprise two and a half days per year group. Rich learning opportunities to support holistic development of literacy skills are a key focus of the training to ensure skills are appropriately applied across the curriculum in all areas of learning. The half-day session provides opportunity for teacher reflection on the impact of training and the identification of future ways forward

‘Do you see what I see?’ Visual Literacy is a training module and resource focused on using Visual Literacy with Foundation Phase pupils. This training will contain an element of action research whereby teachers will be expected to undertake small scale research within their setting. Teachers attending training will receive a copy of the supplementary resource.
