How to Create Website Part – I - Domain

Domain Name – How much it is familiar to you?  Use it everyday, every hour, every minute like google in (simplest example )  any name registered in the DNS  Top Level Domains:.com,.info,.net,.org  Reserved domains:  example: reserved for use in examples  invalid: reserved for use in obviously invalid domain names  localhost: reserved to avoid conflict with the traditional use of localhost as a hostname  test: reserved for use in tests

Domain name: Let’s break it  organized right to left,  with general descriptors to the right, and  specific descriptors to the left  like family surnames  TLD - far right of a domain name  Mid level domains - in the middle  machine name, often "www", is to the far left  levels of domains are separated by periods ("dots")  example – matrixsoft.inmatrixsoft.in  matrixsoft is the larger mid-level domain .in is the top level domain
