UK Clinical Research Network (UKCRN) Key Activities  Creation, development and coordination of a comprehensive programme of training and education  Information and advice on learning opportunities for people involved in clinical research  Facilitation of sharing good practice across TCRNs  Representation on relevant organisations and committees pertinent to T&E. UK Clinical Research Network (UKCRN) Learning Management System (LMS)  To enable courses to be administered effectively  The LMS is a comprehensive computerised system which coordinates and manages information about the UKCRN T&E programme, including availability, course information, hosting of online courses, reports on training activities within each network, financial accountability and links to TCRN T&E web pages.  Crucial -The system allows online booking of UKCRN courses.  The LMS will facilitate the effective operational delivery of UKCRN T&E provision and develop common systems which ensure transparency and consistency, yet provide flexibility to respond to topic requirements, and scalability to enable the management of increased activity in the future.

UK Clinical Research Network (UKCRN) UKCRN T&E database.  This has been a collaborative venture with Research and Development Learning (RDLearning).  The database provides a robust bespoke database of training opportunities available within the UK, both UKCRN and other external courses.  searchable database of training provision which has been created and linked to the UKCRN website  The goal for the end of the year is for appropriate external training and learning opportunities to be kite marked by UKCRN as suitable for staff to access.
