2. Lead by Example. Your kids watch everything you do including what you eat, and how active you are. Get out there and play! ©2014 – Healthy Hands Cooking – All Rights Reserved – Not for Duplication

3. Shop with your Kids. And if you can’t take them with you, ask for their choice of each week’s fruits and veggies. ©2014 – Healthy Hands Cooking – All Rights Reserved – Not for Duplication

4. Cook With Your Kids. Getting them involved in meal preparation will give them a sense of accomplishment and willingness to eat what they helped make. ©2014 – Healthy Hands Cooking – All Rights Reserved – Not for Duplication

5. Skip The Drive-Thru. Plan your meals a week in advance and post the menu for all to see. Wash, chop, and store fresh produce once a week so that everything is grab-and-go. 6. Reduce Sugar Intake. Soda, juice, cookies, snacks, ice-cream, candy, cereal, syrup, pies, cakes and more can have a serious effect on your family’s waistline. 7. Give Your Kids a Choice. (Sort of). Ask them this one very simple, (yet very effective) question with each meal… “What 2 fruits and/or veggies would you like with this meal”? ©2014 – Healthy Hands Cooking – All Rights Reserved – Not for Duplication

10. Find a Weekly Activity that Your Family Can Do Together. Why not challenge another family to a weekly bowling night, driveway basketball game, or Wii Sports night?
