NRT: Aeroecology as a Testbed for Interdisciplinary STEM Training Contact Program Coordinator: Sara Mata

Interdisciplinary EOS 3 Immerse students in the interdisciplinary complexities of big data that connect Earth observation science and sustainability; Build student competency in engaging with interdisciplinary teams to address common questions Enhance student competency in team science which includes development of skills in leadership, communication, big data, and consensus building. EOS 3 Data Analytics Introduce students to open-source data tools for acquiring, managing, and analyzing large public data sets. Students will work in interdisciplinary teams to fuse disparate data and conduct analyses that meld ideas from natural and social science disciplines. Teams with varied skill sets to establish a culture of collaborative teaching and learning. FALL GRADUATE CERTIFICATE COURSES Contact Program Coordinator: Sara Mata

EOS 3 Interface focused on interdisciplinary communication application of group communication theories to team science, and the communication of science across societal and cultural gaps. Theory, scholarship, and applications of group and organizational communication will be discussed within this context. EOS 3 Practicum Culminate of the certificate program and will allow student to apply what they have learned in their previous coursework interdisciplinary teams tasked with addressing real world research topics relating to the EOS 3 theme.
