Google Apps Collection of web-based programs File storage Run in a web browser Software needed – none for most apps –Some require a download (ex - Talk or Chat) Just create an account and log in to use them

Communication Tools Gmail Google Buzz –Social Networking – like Twitter Google Talk or Chat –Needs Software Google Calendar Google Groups

Productivity Tools Google Docs –Document –Presentation –Spreadsheet Work any time, any place Platform Neutral Shared –Collaborate in Time, rather than place

Examples These will be hands-on as this is a BYO laptop session.
