Preferences and preferential terms 6 Annual fee for the activities on Sughd FEZ territory: 1 USD/sqm per year; 0.25 USD/sqm for 7 years (from October, 2008) on the basis of enterprises that existed on Sughd FEZ territory before FEZ was established. Preferential terms

Preferences and preferential terms 7 Goods which are placed on Sughd FEZ territory in order to tax exemption from customs duties and taxes as well as prohibitions and restrictions of economic nature that are regarded as being outside the customs territory of the Republic of Tajikistan; Import of foreign and domestic goods to the territory of FEZ, industrial and construction equipment is free from customs duties and taxes; Exported goods from the territory of SEZ outside of the Republic of Tajikistan are not charged with taxes and duties except for customs clearance fees and no prohibitions and restrictions of economic character are applied. Preferences and preferential terms 8 Entrepreneurial activity on FEZ territory, regardless of ownership, has been exempt from all taxes provided with the Tax Code of the Republic of Tajikistan; FEZ subjects play the role of tax agents to withhold and pay social security tax in the budget (25% of payroll) and the tax of personal income of employees (8 to 13%); Profits derived by foreign investors and workers wages received in foreign currency may be freely exported abroad that is not liable for tax.
