Martin Luther King Jr., who lead the civil rights movement in the early 60's gave their lives to pass laws which led to a number of urban schools becoming diversified

 JONES HIGH SCHOOL OPENED IN  JHS 1 ST AFRICAN AMERICAN SCHOOL IN AMERICA  JHS FIRST NAME WAS JOHNSON ACADEMY UNTIL IT MOVED IN 1921  JOHNSON ACADEMY WAS RENAMED AFTER ITS LONG TIME PRINCIPAL  & DONOR OF THE PROPERTY L. C. JONES  JHS MOVED WEST CURRENT LOCATION IN 1952  NEW CAMPUS WAS CONSTRUCTED & OPENED IN  JHS IS THE LONGEST LASTING AFRICAN AMERICAN SCHOOL IN AMERICA

The majority of schools in America in recent years has become so diversified that the majority of its classrooms have students from all four corners of the world (Wardle, 2013).

Poverty is well known for causing a number of countries to fall behind in educating their children. The lack of money which provides a number of supplies that are needed in order for children to learn significant concepts that would help them advance to the next grade.

 2004 – Rated worst school in Florida  2005 – Warned of School Closing if score “F”  2006 – JHS scored “D” FCAT  2007 – JHS scored “C” FCAT  2013 – JHS scored “B” FCAT The schools demographics didn’t change at all. The State of Florida understood that JHS needed better teachers for the job.

I am currently a student attending Jones High school. I received a 5 on the FCAT writing and 4 on both the FCAT reading and math. I have a 3.6 GPA. I know I will be attending A college or university. Jones has provided me with the education and information to succeed. Jones has even taken... Read more me to a variety of college campuses consisting of; The University of Florida, University of Central Florida, University of South Florida, University of Tampa, and many more. Even though my parent isn't involved in the school, she is involved with me. It hurts me to hear these comments saying Jones is a bad school and you should attend another school. I love Jones. Even though I don't plan on living in this area in about 10 years, my future children will attend Jones High School and so will my children's children 05/21/07 Social Media

School is a extremely powerful tool (Wirdle, 2013) in which governments have utilized in the past to build their countries economic levels of power.

Toussaint Louverture fought the French, the Spanish, and the British holding them off for over twelve years. (Knight, 2005). The history books do not reflect that the Haitian people are the only African people to ever free themselves from the tyranny of slavery (Knight, 2005). The majority of my World History class would learn the significance of their country during the early part of the 18th Century as it was the wealthiest country in the world.. Sugar cane was revered like that of oil in the 21st Century (Knight, 2005).

Teachers must be prepared to adjust their curriculum at any moment for students that come from a variety of different cultural backgrounds.

CHILDREN WHO HAVE THEIR PARENTS OR GUARDIANS INVOLVED IN THEIR EDUCATION ARE MORE LIKELY TO SUCCEED LATER IN LIFE THAN STUDENTS WHO DO NOT HAVE THEIR PARENTS INVOLVED IN THEIR EDUCATIONAL ENDEVOURS.

GODFAMILYHOMEEDUCATIONCAREER

The majority of these students not only just learned the English language, but had arrived from their native land only a few years ago. Many of the parents of my students did not speak or know how to read the English language at all. This didn't stop these parents from fully participating in their child's education (Cafferata & Gonzalez, 2003).

The key to my success inside of the classroom with my multiracial students came with me not only becoming a part of their lives after school with extra-curricular sports programs, but with meeting with each student's parents or guardian on a regular basis giving them a detailed report of how their son or daughter has been performing in my course
