Our class could always use donations of playground equipment throughout the year such as balls and jump ropes. Sorry, NO sidewalk chalk this year. * During colder months, please make sure to send a sweatshirt/ jacket with your child, as we will go out as long as the temperature is above 40 degrees. (send a sweatshirt/ jacket each day as well because our classroom is often chilly too.) Thank you in advance for your support!

We have lunch daily from 12:36-12:56. You are always welcome to join us for lunch. Birthdays are a great day to join your little one. Cupcakes are always a yummy treat and easy to pass out. Lunch prices and menus can be found on the PKM Cafeteria Blog.

Homework is a wonderful opportunity to glance into your child’s understanding and communicate about skills being taught at school. Homework should take NO longer than 20 minutes. Please just write me a note if frustration level is hit. * Homework should be a review of concepts learned in class. Homework will go home daily and should be returned the following day. * For the first 2 months (more if needed) I will keep a homework calendar on our class website. Students are learning to become independent and record HW in his/her agendas. * Missing homework will result in missing some recess time. * Please do NOT bring in Homework if it is forgotten. Students are encouraged to take ownership of his/her work and put it in their FISH folders when it is completed. * Homework should ALWAYS be neat, complete, & have your child’s name on it!
