Why are signs important to safety in healthcare setting? A recent study found that safety signs that inform you of danger can reduce accident rates in the workplace by up to 80%.

What is the value of a safety plan? An average of 6,000 people die as a result of work-related accidents or diseases, totaling more than 2.2 million work-related deaths a year. A comprehensive workplace safety program can decrease the likely hood of a workplace injury by up to 50 percent. Workplace injury and illness are more costly than all cancers combined.

Safety in Healthcare Setting Objective: We will identify safety practices in all aspects of the health science industry and we will create a healthcare safety poster and deliver a presentation with demonstration to our classmates.
