Sharing the Knowledge 1.You and your class partner will use an app called Tellagami to create an animation which explains the correlation between the period and frequency of a trigonometric function. 2.It is important to plan what you will say because it is a very short video (30 seconds). So before you start recording, collaborate with your partner to make sure you include all relevant information you want to include, writing a brief script or outline. 3.When you have completed step 2, open up the Tellagami app and read over the “How To.” Choose a character, an emotion, and a background. You may use the doodle feature to write on your background. 4.Click on the “back arrow “to get back to your screen to record. Use the “record” feature and click on the “record” button when you are ready to begin. Click on the “preview” button to see what your gami will look and sound like. When you are satisfied, click to “share.” Make sure you click the “Save” option so that your video will be saved onto the camera roll. 5.Open up the Safari app on the iPad and go to Log into Blackboard and find this class. Navigate to High School Mathematics>IMPACT 2015> Day 1 Agenda>Group 3: Activty 3: Experience the Model Lessons>Task 4 Blog. Click on “Create Blog Entry” to add a new entry and in the title line type in “Your Name, Partner’s Name”. Click on the “attachment” icon on the top of the page and then on the “Browse my Computer” at the bottom of the page. Find your video from the camera roll and click “Use”. If you didn’t have enough time to say all you wanted to about the regression model and the correlation coefficient on your “gami”, type in the additional information in the blog entry. Click “Post”. 6.Once all Gami videos are posted, provide a comment on each of the videos with a review of how you think they did. To view all the blog posts, click on “All Class Members.” Share your knowledge about period and frequency of a trig function with thanks to Brenda Storey.
