 Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!!! We hope you all have a blessed holiday and we are so thankful for all the wonderful friendships that we have made with you!

Studying Goals  Let ’ s Know the origin of the first Thanksgiving Day.

 In September, 1620, one hundred and two people left England for America on the Mayflower.

 The Pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock, Massachusetts on November 9th.

 It was difficult for them to live in the new world.

 Many of them died during the first winter because of poor food, disease, and bitter cold.

 The next spring, some friendly Native Americans came to help them. They taught the Pilgrims how to grow food crops.

 The Pilgrims had a good harvest that fall.

 They invited the Native Americans and enjoyed having turkey and other good food. The Pilgrims and the Native Americans had a great time together.

 On Thanksgiving Day, most American people get together with their family members. They enjoy eating turkey and have a good time.
