 Be prepared  Appearance is important, dress appropriately  Knowing your information and being an expert are two different things

 Don’t write in complete sentences  Don’t have too much information in one slide  Don’t add too many graphics or special effects, it will distract the audience

 Use bullet points or short phrases  Maximum six lines per slide and six words per line (Six Six Rule)  Font size should be 24 or larger

Do not use distracting graphics as the background for text

 Use one graphic per slide, if possible.  If you have to use more than one, do not exceed three images per slide
