Math is better than Ice- Cream!! Course Construction Details This course is designed to identify deficiencies in Algebra. When students receive their EOC results, their deficiencies will be identified and specific curriculum will be provided to help them address the needs. The course is tailored to meet the needs of each student. Syllabus

Math is better than Ice- Cream!! Instructional Material Materials will come from a variety of sources: Odysseyware, state released items, text books, and locally generated materials. All materials will be aligned to target specific performance expectations.

Math is better than Ice- Cream!! Grading Criteria Grading Criteria: Grades for this course will be determined by student post-test scores (for on-line courses) and/or scoring rubrics for assignments (contract courses). Grades offered are: “A” when all assignments/assessments are Level 4 “B” when assignments/assessments average Level 3 “C” when assignments/assessments average Level 2 No credit is given for Level 1 assignments/assessments. Level 1 – Req. improvement Level 2 – Basic Level 3 – Proficient Level 4 – Advanced
