(which is why we have been reviewing the future tense as well as other ways to reference the future.) Use of subjunctive is dependent upon the other verb Ejemplos Voy a comprar un carro en cuanto tenga dinero. I am going to buy a car as soon as I have money. Visitaré España después de que me gradúe. I will visit Spain after I graduate.
WHEN DO WE USE THEM WITH THE INDICATIVE? Con una acción regular o habitual If the verb in the main clause refers to a habitual or regular action (present indicative), use the present indicative after the conjunction (CAMELoT/ HD3). If the verb in the main clause refers to an action that already occurred (preterite), use the preterite after the conjunction (CAMELoT/HD3). Ejemplos Compro ropa cuando tengo dinero extra. I buy clothes when I have extra money. (GENERAL?HABITUAL) Compré un carro en cuanto recibí dinero. I bought a car as soon as I got money. (COMPLETED ACTION)
