Infant mortality rate – the number of infant deaths per 1,000 births

6.2 Population Distribution 5. Population distribution – the spreading of people over an area of land 6. Population density – the number of people per unit of land area

6.3 Migration 7. Migration – the movement of people from one place to another Ex: People coming from Asia to America. 8. Emigrate – means to migrate OUT of a place Ex: People moving out of Asia. 9.
