Sign Up for Hstry.co Easy as 1, 2, 3! Log in to Hstry.co and sign up as a teacher. You can sign up using your Google Account. Choose “Complete the sign up”.

Create your classes. Now you are ready to create your classes. Choose “Add your first class”

Invite your students. Give students their class code.

Create a Timeline So many options to choose from! Choose to create a timeline from the TEACH tab. Select a “Banner” from a photo on your computer or from the internet. Banners are the overarching subject or topic pictures. Add a title and cover picture if you like.

Adding Events Click on the + sign for your options.

Textbox Simply add text to provide information.

Add an Image Choose the image option and upload a picture from your computer or the internet. Add a caption and photo credits. Don’t like that entry, just trash it by clicking on the trash can. Need to move it to a different position on the timeline, click on the cross arrows.

Add a Video using YouTube or an audio file.

Did you Know option – add text and an image.

Add some questions. Multiple Choice Forum Multiple Choice – You can add an image, then a question with multiple choices. Be sure to place a check mark in front of the correct answer. An explanation can be added after the question. Use Forum to ask open ended discussion style questions.

More Questions Drag and Drop Drag and Drop questions allow you to match answers by dragging the correct answer. There is also a place for a question explanation.

Share Timelines After viewing your timeline, share it with your students by clicking the box in the left hand corner. You can also share student timelines with your class once they have submitted them.
