Master of Management (Technology) Mixed Mode The program is designed for graduates with some working experience who are interested in building a career in business and management irrespective of their previous undergraduate qualifications. It is also aimed for potential students who have recently graduated from their undergraduate studies and are looking for management education related to technology-based issues. The structure of the program will equip students with knowledge and research skills in management and technology studies. Master of Management (Technology) Full Research This program is designed to provide advanced, research based studies in management related to technology-based issues. It aims to develop understanding of the state of knowledge in the technology-inclined management discipline that will contribute to the expansion of new knowledge through research activities. Students will engage in a significant research investigation of a specific inquiry resulting in the production of a thesis with either a theoretical or an applied focus. In conducting the research, students have the opportunity to critically analyze issues and contribute or expand knowledge in their area of interest through observation, literature review and data analysis. At the end of the program, students must submit a thesis on a topic which has been agreed upon by the faculty and the length should be between 150 to 200 pages. The conferment of the degree is subject to the successful completion of the thesis and viva voce defense.

MSc. in Human Resource Development (Mixed Mode) The program is designed for students who desire to inspire others, to promote learning within individuals, communities, organizations and globally. Successful graduates will improve their capacity to provide leadership; manage resources; design and implement processes for organizational learning; evaluate and develop staff; liaise with government, organizations and stakeholders; plan, monitor and review policies and programs; implement change in organizations; and demonstrate awareness of the multiple perspectives and interconnectedness of learning, development work and life. MSc. in Human Resource Development (Full Research) This course is designed to provide advanced, research based studies in Human Resource Development (HRD). It aims to develop understanding of the state of knowledge in the areas of HRD discipline and to contribute to the expansion of new knowledge through research activities. The program provides an opportunity for students to critically analyze issues and contribute or expand knowledge related to HRD field based on observation, literature review and data analysis. At the end of the program, students must submit a thesis on a topic which has been agreed upon by the faculty and the length should be between 150 to 200 pages. A thesis evaluation and an oral examination will be conducted by examiners for the purpose of validating the conferment.

Ph.D in Management The Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) Program in Management is created to train caliber and high performing graduates to find genuine discoveries in the field of management via research. Applicants who are selected for the Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) program are those capable of conducting a research in the field of their interests. The outcome of the research should reflect their ability in critical analysis, their thinking strength and capability of integrating their skills in research and their in-depth knowledge. Program Objectives 1. To provide an in-depth knowledge in one specialized field so that the graduate is able to contribute and make evaluations on contributions made by other pioneers. 2. To enhance and expand the contributions of the university in terms of genuine research in the field of management especially those that are related to the national interests. 3. To train and create professional graduates in the field of management.

Entry Requirements Master's Degree A Bachelor's Degree with good honors from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognized by the Senate; or a qualification equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree and experience in the relevant field recognized by the Senate. Doctor of Philosophy A Master's Degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any other institutions of higher learning recognized by the Senate; or other qualifications equivalent to a Master's degree and experience in the relevant field recognized by the Senate; or candidates who are currently registered in a Master's Degree program at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and approved by the Graduate Studies Committee of the respective faculty and the Senate.

FPPSM POST-GRADUATE ANNEX (PG CABIN) Provides space for full time Ph.D and Masters students by research at FPPSM, UTM Skudai, Johor. (Situated behind Block D06). It consists of 4 rooms (5-6 students per room) and one hall (for discussion, presentations and meetings). Facilities: Computers, Internet, air condition, desks/chairs, etc. ‘Open-concept’: Every research student can use at first come first serve basis. Students are fully responsible of the safety of the cabin and its facilities.

Workspace for research student School of Graduate Studies (SPS) is now offering workspace for PhD students (local & International) at Block G05 & G06. Those who are interested please fill up the form, get the supervisor and faculty recommendation, then submit to SPS

REMINDER All research students must register for research every semester. Students to meet with their supervisor on a regular basis. Research students (PhD & Masters) must submit progress report to the postgraduates office by online at the end of every semester Students are encouraged to participate in the faculty’s activities (colloquium, research talk by visiting professors, workshops).
