DIVISIONS & GROUPS Division/Group columns can be used for any type of incident. From a single family dwelling, to a high rise incident, brush fire, or Metro Rail. There are a total of 6 Division/Group columns. (SPAN OF CONTROL) Label as needed. Ie: Div A, B, C, D and Roof or, Fire Suppression, Extrication, and Medical… If a unit gets reassigned, cross it out and write it in the new assignment.

DIVISIONS & GROUPS When tracking your resources, you have the option of leaving one or two spaces blank when initially designating your Division or Group Supervisors. When designating the Supervisors, simply circle them to denote who is in charge. “A” E-1 E-2 E-3 12 E-1 “B” 13 T-1 E-4 E-5 T-1

STAGING The Staging Column is used only for units on scene without an assignment. Once the unit has an assignment draw a line through it. When a unit becomes available, put them back into staging or start a rehab column.

SAFETY OFFICER A Red box has been added for the Safety Officer. We no longer use one person for Safety/Recon.

MEDICAL UNIT Medical Unit Vs. Medical Group MAY be used in conjunction with rehab. Typically utilized for longer duration incidents.

Resources All units assigned to incident go in this column. (eventually) This should reflect what the MDC shows. Normally done by Div SA.
