Auckland City Mission is a social service organisation serving people who have been marginalised through poverty, ill health, addiction and/or trauma. Auckland City Mission helps : the elderly, beneficiaries, children and people living with HIV and AIDS. Changes in the government, social policy and economic environment have created the need for social service organisations in New Zealand.

The Auckland City Mission provides unique and Specialised health and social services to help Aucklanders move forward. The Mission offers help to people who may be experiencing a temporary set back or a long-term problem. The Mission’s Social Workers are always there to help guide people through their issue.

Auckland City Mission was established in 1920 by Reverend Jasper Calder. Over time the Mission had changed from being seen as ‘ the City Mission of the Anglican Church’ to ‘Auckland’s City Mission’

Auckland City Mission’s team of community Social Workers provide assistance and support to people in their own homes. Auckland City Mission Provides support to: People who are sick Isolated elderly People with mental illnesses People with addictions Families with housing difficulties

Auckland City Mission relies on the support and generosity of the public. The Mission is one of the few organisation that can make good use of whatever you have to give. There are many ways you can show your support!
