It was the day after Christmas vacation and all the kids were talking about what they got from Santa. I looked around and noticed a girl who looked like she was about to cry. I decided that I should ask her what is wrong. That would answer the question WWJD. I walked over to her and asked why she seemed so sad. The girl just blankly looked at me and…. Turned and walked away Turned and walked away (Slide 5) Began to sob uncontrollably Began to sob uncontrollably (Slide 7) (Image should be large)
I decided that I would just ignore her. I felt a little guilty but I just did not want to deal with her problems. (Resize text) The next time I looked The next time I looked (Slide 5) I remembered the saying WWJD (slide 8)
I decided to ignore her. The next time I looked around I noticed the girl had turned and walked away. I never saw her again (Slide 6)saw I ran after the girl I ran after the girl (Slide 7)
I never saw her again. I wish she had chosen to let me help her. I know that is what Jesus wanted me to do. We should always try to help others.
When I began to walk over I noticed that the girl began to cry harder and harder. I asked her why she was so upset. She said leave me alone and walked away She said leave me alone and walked away (slide 6) She began to stop crying She began to stop crying (Slide 8) (leave spaces)
I remembered the saying WWJD. As I approached the girl she began to stop crying. I asked why she was so upset. She replied that her family was unable to buy gifts because they did not have any extra money to spend on them. I reminded her what the Christmas season was really about, the birth of Christ and not the gifts. She smiled and we became great friends. The End
