The Fundamentals of Salvation HOW DO WE OBTAIN THE SALVATION THAT CHRIST OFFERS?
2 Just before He departed this earth, Jesus said: (Mark 16:16 KJV) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Belief + Baptism = Salvation SALVATION
Faith is essential for salvation: (John 3:16 KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 11:26 KJV) … believeth in me shall never die.... (Acts 16:31 KJV) … Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. FAITH {ONLY} believeth {ONLY} Believe Salvation by faith is different than salvation by faith only. 3

Christ saves His body (Eph. 5:23). Salvation is “in Christ Jesus” (II Tim. 2:10). BAPTISM Salvation is not “in any other” (Acts 4:12). “In whom” we have redemption (Col. 1:14). 12
There are two (and only two verses) in all of the Bible that have the expression: “into Christ” or “into Christ Jesus” “into Jesus” or “into the Lord” Will we let those two Scriptures tell us how to get “into” Christ—the only place that salvation is found? INTO CHRIST 13
Those two Scriptures are: (Rom 6:3 KJV) Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? (Gal 3:27 KJV) For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. BAPTISM 14
