Characters of The Call of the Wild By Jack London

 Buck fought Spitz and won.  Was captured and sold by the man in the red sweater.  Became one of the most valuable sled dogs in town.  He is strong, bold, and intelligent.  He had many owners, Judge Miller, François, Hal, and John Thornton.  Now he is part of a pack of wolves in the wild.

 He is bucks rightful owner.  Judge Miller is a minor part of the story.  He used to be the judge but now he is retired.

 Curly was Bucks first canine companion.  She accompanied him on the trip to Alaska.  Curly was a white poodle.  But towards the end of the chapter she was mauled by wolves.

 Spitz was the head leader of the dogs.  He was someone all the dogs respected.  He would always try to pick fight with buck.  Finally when him and Buck fight with Buck it was a life or death fight and Spitz die.

One of Buck’s abusive owners. Almost killed Buck. Over worked the dogs.

 Buck’s final master.  He had the strongest relationship with Buck.  He saved Buck from being beaten to death.  Later Buck saved him from drowning.

 He stole Buck.  Was a gardener on Judge millers property.  Sold Buck and made a lot of money off of him.
