Blended Learning Pilot School Board Workshop - October 15, 2013

Overview A blended learning course consists of both traditional classroom and online instruction.

Weekly Intervention Sessions (F) Online Instruction M,W or T, Th Live Instruction M,W or T, Th Logistics

Five Components for Successful Blended Learning Best practices for blended learning include: The first session is live (summer orientation) Assessments are administered face to face. Multiple face-to-face sessions throughout term. Differentiated instruction and discussion strategies. Class size is limited.
