The United States Constitution Turn to page 474 in your History Alive Textbooks.

Observing… Take 4 minutes to look through the Constitution of the United States on page 474. On page (R62) write down 5 reflective responses about the organization of the Constitution.

Review the 3 Branches of Government

Directions to Activity: Objective: To understand the organization of the U.S Constitution and understand the powers listed in the Constitution. 1.You will be working in pairs of two. 2.Each group will use your textbook (pg. 474) to find the answers to the questions in the white packet. 3. On the gold paper, you will fill in the correct answers. 4. When you are done, raise your hand to receive the answer sheet. 5. You will then correct your worksheets. 6. The team with the most correct answers are the winners. 7. You will collect your prize at the end of the class period.

Please Remember: Do not write on the card sort question packet! Put the packet back in the metal basket before you leave class today. I will collect GOLD worksheets on Monday!
