Main Concept : Comparator Circuit Comparator compares 2 input voltage with reference voltage and gives output in digital form. If Vin > Vref : output is HIGH If Vin < Vref : output is LOW It is implemented using Op-Amp. Vref in Inverting (-) Pin Vin in Non-Inverting (+) Pin
Working Black and white color reflect light with different intensities. LDR has different values of resistance in different intensities of white & black light. Voltage drop across LDR is given as input to comparator circuit. Comparator Circuit checks whether light is reflected from black line or background. Output is given to motor driver ic accordingly considering the direction of turning at each signal from comparator circuit.
