+ Student Led Creative Experience Thing Painting!:

+ Please clean off your tables: To allow the Student Led Group to prepare their creative experience for tonight You will have 20 minutes for your break but will need to visit the “art walk” arranged for you in the foyer and my office during part of that time. Make the time to stop and consider each piece thoughtfully. Consider the style and medium each of the artists used to represent their ideas. Consider the place, culture and the sense of history that each piece conveys. Take time to appreciate the value and beauty each of the artists are attempting to express through their art.

+ With your small group: Please discuss the activities presented. Describe: How might you expand or extend these activities in your work with young children? What are three learning objectives for children from the CDC Taxonomy with each of these activities?

+ MIDTERM! Due tonight by midnight NEXT WEEK: Group Led Activity: Collage The COMPLETE Creative Experience in the Early Childhood classroom READ Chapter 9 Bring your binder! NEXT WEEK: Assigning Observation #2 Creative Challenge – Collect something creative and different, or share a collection you have. What makes each piece unique. Study the properties and come prepared to share.
