TASFAA 2016 Legacy of Leadership TN Promise Guidelines AC YR (Cohort 2) Application deadline – November 2, 2015 Two (2) Mandatory Meetings hosted by partnering organization FAFSA Submission Date – February 22, 2016 (Renewal) 8 Hours of Community Service completed and submitted – August 1, 2016 (fall) Submit materials to institution for FAFSA verification – August 1, 2016 Will be communicated to student as July 15, 2016 (Priority Deadline)

TASFAA 2016 Legacy of Leadership Community College Reconnect Initial Guidelines TN Resident 1 year prior to award Not enrolled at least 2 years prior to award Completed at least 30 hours towards AAS degree File a FAFSA, be independent student, AGI less than $36,000 Submit an application Enroll at least 9 hours and maintain continuous enrollment Maintain 2.0 GPA and SAP Must receive in AC YR to receive any future award

TASFAA 2016 Legacy of Leadership Community College Reconnect Awarding Methodology Funding will be distributed as a Block Grant to institutions based on most recent IPEDS data (Fall 2014) Award will be last-dollar following TNP methodology Students will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis FAFSA (application) deadlines will coincide with current Hope Scholarship FAFSA deadlines FAFSA Completion (generated EFC) and completion of verification, if selected, used to determine “priority” of eligibility Student must enroll and attend at least 9 credit hours progressing toward intended degree
